Just in case anyone wants to know, here's where to find David Haerle these days: The Daily World, Olympia, Washington.
He's apparently the "Entertainment Editor." Hard to believe he can find employment in the newspaper business after burning all his bridges at the Record Searchlight in Redding....
However, I find Dave Haerle's resemblance to the actor Stephen Root, who plays the character of "Milton" in the movie Office Space, absolutely uncanny. Here's a great YouTube clip from one of my favorite movies. Here's the Stapler scene, the cake scene and the MiltonRemix. If you've never seen Office Space, you need to rent it!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Office Space!!!! The first time I saw it I was still working at the R-S, and it reminded me so much of my situation there! And it especially captured my feelings of hatred toward my own job. Priceless!!!
The only thing is one can feel a little bit of pity toward Milton in that movie, since he's always getting crapped on by the boss. I can't feel anything but contempt for Haerle. He is like a cancer, infecting everyone he makes contact with.
In fact, if he reminds me of anyone it's of Peter Griffin in The Family Guy. Both are fat, crude, rude, stupid and basically repulsive. And they look kinda similar, too. Poor Peter.
Some more food for your fantasy(be careful, though, he used to be really hot with a good body in his younger days, even if he had a troubled personality). You got it all wrong, Marge ol' Gal. The dude is all silver now and sports a ponytail and plans on voting for Obama. No button-down oxfords for him, either...kinda the bohemian-bum look now. Nice try, however.
Christ almighty, Lucy/Jane/ex-wife/whatever lady, that description alone makes me want to hurl up a fur ball.
For chrissake, Jane, I'm not sure who's weirder, you or your husband.

Michelle, may I ask why you hated your job? Aside from the Haerle factor, of course (no man has that much influence!)...and it can't possibly be all of GWB's fault. Were you there when El Sol ruled? I think things went south when he left.
