No further comments on Redding.com (literally!)

According to Marc Beauchamp's blog today, the comments feature on Redding.com is temporarily broken. Darn! How in the world will "Prancer2," "WildWoman7," and "Not2Bright" survive? Will they actually have to venture away from their Redding.com comment umbilical chords? If so, maybe they should check Planet Redding for some fun and interesting things to do on the Red Planet.

Here's Marc's blog today. Leave him a comment here if you would like. ;-)

No comment - don't you hate that?

"The paper upgraded the blog software this week and one of the inevitable glitches broke the comments function. It's been strange. Like performing on stage to an empty house. Some folks find the comments boorish, inane or insulting. But I'll take the good with the bad. The vast majority (more than 1,700 comments on 2,060 blogs over the past couple years) have been on point, smart, witty, insightful. Some commenters have corrected errors or shown me a new or different way of looking at an issue. In short, I'm grateful. And I miss you. Hope they get this glitch fixed soon."

Comment from Large Marge: Hi Marc, well, since I can't comment on your blog today.... I'll leave you a message here. Thanks for using the word "boorish" to describe the comments left on Redding.com. I find most comments on Redding.com to be rather "rude, boorish and at the 6th grade level." However, it's where I picked up some of my best material (har, har!). Have a good one! ;-)
P.S. Marc, do you have any ideas for Planning Commission appointee's?

L.M. - you forgot to mention the commenting genius of "californiakayaker.” Did someone say boorish?
