Polls are showing that Obama won this first debate. Well, yeah, duh??!!

As one of my friends stated: "McCain sounded old, tired and grumpy... He must have missed his nap."

Yes, I'm sure McCain missed a lot of naps this week in his attempt to "fix" the greatest financial debacle in recent American history that he helped create.

And remember, I'm a card-carrying Independent. I am not thrilled with either candidate. I am just much more terrified of the words "President Palin" when and if McCain were to kick the bucket.
